Privacy Policy

For The Misfits Pte. Ltd. ("For The Misfits", "we", "us") is a wedding photography and film studio in Singapore. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you contact us, how we use it, and your choices. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

• Your Instagram name and username, and the messages you send to @forthemisfits.sg.
• Details you share about your shoot or wedding, such as your names, dates, venue, the services you're interested in, and anything you tell us about your plans.
• The time of any video call you book with us.

We don't ask for payment details, identity numbers or passwords over Instagram.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions.
• To check our availability and schedule a Google Meet video call with you.
• To prepare for that call, so we don't ask you the same things twice.

We use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, to help us read and reply to messages and to schedule calls. A member of our team oversees these conversations and is always available if you'd like to speak to a person.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data or share it for advertising. We only share it with the service providers that run our tools, and only so they can provide that service to us:

• Meta (Instagram), which carries our messages.
• Google (Calendar, Meet and Docs), where we schedule calls and keep enquiry notes.
• The AI and hosting providers that help us draft replies and run our systems.

Some of these providers may store data outside Singapore. Where they do, we rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to two years after our last conversation, or for as long as we work together if you book us, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Your choices and data deletion

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to us using it. To do this, send "delete my data" (or your request) by Instagram message to @forthemisfits.sg or by email to forthemisfitssg@gmail.com. We'll confirm within 30 days.

Security

We keep your data in password-protected accounts and systems with access limited to our team, and we take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorised access, use or loss.
